19/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 18 October, the Committee of Permanent Representatives to the EU (Coreper) approved, without debate, the EP's amendments to the Council's joint position on the regulation on harmonisation of technical rules and administrative procedures in civil aviation. As the amendments were the result of a compromise with the Council (see EUROPE 9228), this latter body is expected to formally adopt the regulation on 23 October. (dt)
