11/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - During its final meeting before Romania's accession on 1 January 2007, the EU/Romania Joint Parliamentary Committee adopted conclusion on 10 October in Brussels, in which Romanian and European parliamentarians expressed their confidence that “safeguard measures will not be necessary”.
