Unanimous condemnation of nuclear test - Hopes for resumption of talks with Pyongyang - Continuation of humanitarian aid

Brussels, 11/10/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, High Representative Javier Solana, Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner and MEPS from all the groups of the European Parliament expressed their unanimous condemnation of the nuclear test North Korea said it carried out on 9 October, and, at the same time, all saluted the responsible and calm attitude shown by the region's main powers, China, Russia and Japan in particular.
