ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) cement

The Egyptian ORASCOM CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES group, the biggest cement producer in the Middle East and North Africa, has acquired 50% of the Spanish GLA firm (turnover of €84 million in the first half of 2006) for €51.3 million in cash.
