The Belgian group VANDEMOORTELE (turnover of around €850 million in 2005 with 3200 collaborators in 12 countries) has taken over the Dutch ERKENS bakeries, which until now were controlled by KAMPS NEDERLAND, for a non-disclosed amount. ERKENS (turnover of €10 million), manufacturers and sells frozen patisserie products in Germany, United Kingdom, Spain and the Benelux. It will be integrated into the LIPIDS & DOUGH division (turnover of €235 million) of VANDEMOORTELE.
