14/09/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 13 September, the Commission received the response from Madrid to the preliminary investigation on conditions imposed on the merger between German company E.ON and Endesa of Spain. The spokesman for the competition commissioner Neelie Kroes said that staff will examine the forty page document “as soon as possible” (see EUROPE 9264).
