21/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a loan of €175 million to Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi A.S. (TOFAS) for the development and production, in collaboration with PSA Peugeot Citroën and Fiat Auto, of a small utility vehicle for the European market. The loan, which will fund part of the estimated €400 million investment, will allow TOFAS to increase significantly its production capacity and create 5,000 jobs.
