21/06/2006 (Agence Europe) - - The Commission has authorised the French bank Crédit Agricole SA acquire sole control of the Portuguese companies Companhia de Seguros Tranquilidade-Vida SA and Espirito Santo Companhia de Seguros SA. The two firms are owned by the Espirito Santo Financial Group of Portugal and are active in life assurance and other domains. The deal was approved by simplified procedure.
