25/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 24 April, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) launched an online consultation exercise on how representative European civil society organisations are. Open until 30 June, the consultation follows the EESC opinion on this subject, adopted on 14 February. Submissions will contribute to the reflection on how to develop and consolidate participative democracy as part of genuine European civil dialogue, stresses a press release. (Further information:...
