Brussels, 01/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament is expected to reach a decision in favour of the extension of the special access regime to fish resources in the “Shetland Box” and to retain “restrictions” on Plaice. The own initiative report of Catherine Stihler (PES, Britain) was adopted on 31 January by members of the EP “fisheries” committee. This dossier will be examined by the plenary on 14 February in Strasbourg.
