Success of EP/Council conciliation on legislation to gradually phase out gas fluorides - progress in fight against global warming

Brussels, 01/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday evening the Parliament and Council reached an agreement in conciliation on a packet of measures to gradually phase out the most dangerous gas fluorides in tyres, progress that was welcomed as a success in the fight against global warming by the institutional triangle.
