Ireland taken to Court of Justice over speed limitation devices

Brussels, 20/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has referred Ireland to the Court of Justice for continued failure to notify measures transposing into national law EU legislation on the installation and use of speed limitation devices for certain categories of motor vehicles (Directive 2002/85/EC) by 1 January 2005, being sent a reasoned opinion on 7 July 2005 (see Europe 8988).
