Brussels, 12/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Council will examine the Commission's recommendation to grant the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) the official status of candidate country, but after the discussion, which took place at Monday's General Affairs/External Relations Council, it is still uncertain whether FYROM will indeed be able to obtain this status, or will have to make do, for the time being, with a simple message of political encouragement,...
