Veneto region of Italy hopes to promote peace through healthcare cooperation

Brussels, 01/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Veneto region of Northern Italy is holding a conference in Venice on 5 December on the Middle East peace process entitled: 'Italy, a land for peace - the Veneto regions' role and action', where President Giancarlo Galan will speak about the close connections between Veneto and the Israeli and Palestinian health authorities and how healthcare cooperation can help make a tangible contribution to the Middle East peace process, explains a press release....
