02/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - CDU MEP Hartmut Nassauer believes recent statements by Turkish Foreign Minister Gul are unacceptable. Gul described the idea of 'privileged partnership' as 'illegitimate and immoral'. The CDU/CSU mooted the idea of privileged partnership as an alternative for Turkey joining the EU.
