Parliament and Commission welcome Israeli withdrawal - Ferrero-Waldner announces EUR 60 million package

Brussels, 26/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 25 August, the European Commission and the European Parliament welcomed Israel's withdrawal from Gaza and the northern West Bank, echoing the British Presidency of the Council of the EU (see statement in Europe 9013).
