22/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Public Loire body in partnerships with Germany and the Netherlands is organising a colloquium on 22-23 September in Orléans on “Risks and Pastimes on the Banks of Europe's Main Rivers”. A press release indicated that the event was part of the Freude am Fluss (Better Living on the Riverbanks) European project and would allow for discussion of land alteration on the river banks in an effort to deal with the risk of flooding.
