20/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - As expected, at Monday's External Relations Council, Estonia and Latvia raised the issue of Russia's refusal to sign border agreements. Speaking to reporters, the President of the Council, British foreign minister Jack Straw, said the two Baltic states had 'received support of the Council in their endeavours for these treaties to be satisfactorily ratified by both sides.'
