13/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the Commission confirmed that it had carried out several inspections on Intel microprocessors premises, as well as on the sites of different computer manufacturers and distributors in Europe. A spokesperson confirmed that “these inspections took place as part of an ongoing Commission investigations” into possible abuse of dominant position committed by the US firm.
