12/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has approved the accession to the European Community of the International Convention for protecting plant samples (revised in Geneva on 19 March 1991) by adopting the report of Joseph Daul (EPP/ED, France) on the subject on Tuesday in Strasbourg by 568 votes for, 17 against and 8 abstentions.
