12/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report by Dagmar Roth-Behrendt (PES, Germany) in first reading (co-decision procedure) in Strasbourg on Tuesday on measures of fighting transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, the European Parliament has decided to divide the proposal into two parts so that it can extent provisional measures by 2 years (which end in July). The other chapter in the proposal has been left aside while waiting for revision of the permanent measures for fighting...
