Gordon Brown wants European competition authority to be more independent

Brussels, 21/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The chancellor of the exchequer, Gordon Brown, indicated that one of the themes in the Labour party campaign connected with business for the forthcoming general elections on 5 May will consist of setting up a European competition authority independent of any political interference.
