Industry criticises new European Fisheries Fund

Brussels, 01/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - Representatives of the fisheries and aquaculture industry have criticised the European Commission's proposal on the new European Fisheries Fund for the period 2007-2013, during a hearing organised at the European Parliament on Tuesday 29 March, in Brussels.

According to Guy Vernaeve from the general secretariat of the Association of National Organisations of Fishing Enterprises in the EU (Europêche), the proposal comprises certain interesting elements...
