23/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its go-ahead to the project by the Italian companies, Banca Intesa S.p.A., Marcegaglia S.p.A. and Sviluppo Italia S.p.A. and the Luxembourg company, IFIL Investissements S.A. to take over control of Sviluppo Italia Turismo S.p.A. (SIT). The last company mentioned above is a subsidiary of Sviluppo and operates in the field of tourism development in the southern regions of Italy, where it owns and rents out holiday centres.
