Brussels, 08/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Anne-Marie Sigmund has launched a series of conferences debates on the European project for the future, “Thursday Meetings: European Values - European society - European Identity”. The first discussion is on 10 March in Brussels, with Professor Krzysztof Michalski, Rector at the Institute of Human Sciences, Vienna and Professor of philosophy at the University of Boston, who will speak on “The Cement Binding Europe Together”. The conference will take place at the EESC HQ every two months. A figure form the academic or cultural worlds will attend. The next “Thursday Meeting” is planned for 12 May.
