08/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission approved the national plan for allocating Poland's greenhouse gas emission quotas subject to some changes (Poland should reduce the volume of quotas to be allocated by 47.1 million tonnes annually). This decision brings to twenty-two the total number of national plans approved to date. The plans for the Czech Republic, Greece and Italy are being examined.
