18/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, EU High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana appointed Eero Lavonen of Finland as the chairman for meetings of the steering board of the European Defence Agency (EDA) when the latter meets at the level of National Armaments Director (NAD). Mr Lavonen, who is above all National Armaments Director at the Finnish Ministry of Defence, will remain at his post until mid-2006.
