Brussels, 20/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - As part of preparations for the second Space Council, the Luxembourg minister for higher education and research, François Biltegen is expected to meet on Friday 21 January in Luxembourg, with Jean-Jacques Dordain, director general of the European Space Agency (ESA). On the basis of the framework agreement between the European Community and ESA, a first Space Council, will bring ministers from 27 participating countries together (EU25 plus Switzerland and Norway) was held on 25 November 2004 in Brussels (EUROPE 27 November. The next meeting on 18 April 2005 will help to elaborate the first orientations of the future European space programme. Biltgen will also take the opportunity to meet with Dordain to discuss the next stages of the Grand Duchée to ESA.
