18/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Patent Office (EPO) is holding the third annual “epoline®” (an EPO trademark which covers a range of products and electronic services for users of the European patent system) conference on 23 and 24 November in Salzburg, Austria. Discussions will concern the online management of patents and distribution of information in this field. More general issues of intellectual property will also be discussed, such as the contribution of patents to European innovation in light of the recent Wim Kok report on the mid-term review of the Lisbon strategy.
