04/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - The text of the joint action concerning the EU military operation in Bosnia-Herzegovina under the CFSP appeared in the OJ on 28 July. As the ALTHEA mission, which will take over from the NATO operations at the end of the year (see EUROPE of 9 July and 4 August), requires the adoption of the role of the EU Special Representative, the Council has modified Paddy Ashdown's mandate and has adopted a new joint action, which will apply until 28 February 2005.
