The eurobarometer site opens up new possibilities on publication's 30th anniversary

Brussels, 26/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 23 July, the European Commission published the complete results of the latest Eurobarometer survey, the main conclusions of which were made public in May. This edition, which is the first to contain information on the 25 member states of the EU, also marked the 30th anniversary of the publication. On that occasion, the Commission is launching a new interactive research system on the Eurobarometer site (http: //http://www.europa.eu.int/comm/public_opinion/cf/index_en.cfm ). This system will enables users to conduct targeted research of the database, to create tables, to save data and compare the results of research on precise issues and specific trends in one or more countries. In parallel with this, a new email system will allow people to receive daily updates on Eurobarometer publications. Anyone interested is invited to register at the following address: http: //http://www.europa.eu.int/comm/coreservices/mailing/index.cfm?form=register&serviceid=36775&lang=en
