19.07.2004 (Agence Europe) - After the opening of the Portuguese market to analytical laboratories of other Member States, the European Commission closed infringement procedure against Portugal on Friday. In March 2002, the Commission had sent a formal letter of notice to Lisbon after of series of provisions preventing EU analytical laboratories from providing services in Portugal or setting up secondary establishments.
