28/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - On the fringes of the Guadalajara Summit, European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy met the Cuban foreign trade minister Alfredo Ferrero. European External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten, asked whether he would be meeting Cuban foreign affairs minister Felipe Perez Roque said he didn't think so. Patten told AFP in Guadalajara that he was very concerned about human rights everywhere, particularly in Cuba where they were hugely ignored. (See yesterday's Europe...
