24/05/2004 (Agence Europe) - Diego de Ojeda, one of the spokespersons for European External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten is temporarily leaving the European Commission to deal, from 1 June this year, with international relations at the cabinet of Spanish Prime Minister Zapatero. Making this announcement to the accredited press in Brussels on Monday, Mr de Ojedo pointed out that he would mainly be dealing with relations with the Arab world and the Mediterranean.
