23/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Friday in Rome, the co-presidents of the Greens/EFA at the European Parliament, Monica Frassoni and Daniel Cohn-Bendit welcomed the appointment of Indulis Emsis as prime minister of Latvia. Mr Emsis also subsequently becomes the first Green Head of government in Europe.
