23/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - During the Greens congress in Rome on Saturday, the co-president of the EP group, Monica Frassoni from Italy sharply criticised the appointment of Giovanni Luperi as Head of the EU Anti-terrorist Taskforce. She underlined that legal proceedings were being undertaken with regard to the role played by Luperi in the police repression of demonstrations in Genoa in July 2001 during the G8 summit.
