Ahern refuses to set date for IGC but stresses negotiations should not be extended for too long - meeting with Aznar and Miller before end of month

Dublin, 08/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Irish prime minister and acting president of the Council of Europe, Bertie Ahern, has come out against the idea of setting a final deadline (for example the end of these year, as suggested in some quarters) to obtain an agreement on the future constitutional treaty.
