Parliament to discuss Charm el-Sheik disaster next week in Strasbourg

Brussels, 08/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has announced that it will be holding a debate on the Charm el-Sheik airline disaster next week in Strasbourg. Francis Wurtz, president of the European United Left/Nordic Green Left at the European Parliament has proposed that the Commission makes a declaration at the plenary, followed by a debate "on the lessons to learn" from the crash.
