29/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On 18 December, the European Parliament adopted, without amendment, the common position of the Council on the control of trade in drugs precursors, ratifying the report by Hubert Pirker, the ÖVP MEP. Drugs precursors are chemical substances that can be used to make designer drugs. The new regulation will lead to increased labelling and control procedures.
