ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

In Spain, VIDA-CAIXA (subsidiary of CAIFOR, the joint venture between LA CAIXA and FORTIS) and GRUPO SANTANDER have concluded an agreement with a view to acquiring SANTANDER CENTRAL HISPANO SEGUROS PREVISION (life insurance for enterprise). The transaction concerns the sum of EUR 160 million.
