19/12/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, Javier Solana paid tribute to the speech by Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, who on Thursday stated that the implementation of the "road map" for peace in the Middle East was the best way to arrive at genuine peace between Israelis and Palestinians. What we now need, said the Representative for CFSP, is for bold steps to be taken in parallel by both sides to allow the effective implementation of the road map.
