Declaration by Presdient Prodi following attack against Carabinieri - Javier Solana discusses Iraqi crisis with Joschka Fischer and Gerhard Schröder

Brussels/Berlin, 13/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Like Javier Solana and Pat Cox (EUROPE yesterday p 5), the President of the European Commission Romano Prodi expressed his profound pain at the attack which killed and wounded a large number of people (28 according to the count on Thursday), most of them Italians, at the Command post of the Carabinieri in Nassiriyah in Iraq. Mr Prodi expressed his solidarity with these people who "with an extraordinary level of sacrifice" contributed everywhere...
