Conclusions on Union's position for forthcoming Intergovernmental Conference on Climate Change deferred - Other results from session

Brussels, 28/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The creation of an ad hoc Council working group on chemicals and the political agreement by Environment Ministers on the proposal to limit atmospheric pollution by certain ozone precursors present in paint and varnishes are the most salient results of the Environment Council, which took place in Luxembourg on Monday (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.8 and 9).
