15/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - During its 30th session in Rome on 7 October, COSAC, which consists of organisations specialising in European affairs, national parliaments of the EU plus the European Parliament, has decided to set up a working group on the involvement of regional assemblies with legislative powers in co-operation between parliaments at European level. The delegations from the German, Belgian and Italian parliaments proposed that COSAC modify its internal regulation to allow such regional assemblies to be represented.
