Commissioner Patten now in Baghdad

Brussels, 17/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - the spokesperson for the Commissioner for External Relations, confirmed on Wednesday, that Chris Patten was in Baghdad to meet with the different partners for reconstruction in Iraq in the perspective of the next international conference. Emma Udwin indicated that the Commissioner hoped to take stock of the situation in the country himself.
