Brussels, 15/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Brussels on 16 September, Employment and Social Affairs Commissioner Anna Diamantopoulou will be meeting the new UK employment and competition minister Gerry Sutcliffe, who wants to discuss the revision of the working time directive, temporary work, the Employment Task Force, data protection and equal opportunities. It goes without saying that Article 13 of the Treaty (combatting discrimination) will be high on the agenda. On the same day, Diamantopoulou will also be seeing the French family minister Christian Jacob to discuss matters such as the conference in Paris on 20 November on child abuse (to which the Commissioner has been invited) and an assessment of the Daphne programme.
