20/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to Eurostat estimates, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the euro zone and that of the EU15 increased by 0.1% during the first quarter 2003. These results follow growth of 0.1% during the fourth quarter 2002. Compared to the first quarter 2002, the euro zone GDP and that of the EU 15 increased by 0.9% and 1.1% respectively after the rises of 1.2% and 1.4% during the previous quarter.
