Council formally appoints new commander of Concordia

Brussels, 30/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - As announced in our issue of 26 July (p 3), the Council formally decided on Tuesday, by written procedure, to appoint Portuguese General Luis Nelson Serriera dos Santos to the command on the ground of the EU Concordia military mission in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM).
