EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE has sold the 22.22% that it held in the capital of CNR - COMPAGNIE NATIONALE DU ROHONE, the second largest French electricity producer, to the Belgian company ELECTRABEL (a subsidiary of French SUEZ). The amount of the transaction comes within a price range of EUR 150-260 million. ELECTRABEL participation in CNR will thus amount to 47.82% by the end of the year 2003.
