- The German bank in difficulty, HVB GROUP, has sold its consumer credit subsidiary NORISBANK (balance sheet total EUR 3.2 billion for the first quarter of 2003 with a pre-tax result of EUR 27.1 billion, 1093 employed and 500,000 clients) to the German cooperative bank DZ BANK.
